Event ice questions
How much ice do I need for an event?
A common rule of thumb is about 1–2 lb of ice per guest for drinks. Plan more for long, hot outdoor events, or if you’re also chilling cans and bottles in coolers. Tell us your headcount and setup and we’ll help you size the order.
Can you deliver to the beach, a stadium or a venue loading dock?
Yes. Our trucks have liftgates and we bring pallet jacks, so we can drop pallets at loading docks, back-of-house areas and event sites across South Florida. Let us know about access times and gate passes ahead of time.
Do you do multi-day events and restocks?
Yes. For festivals, tournaments and multi-day events we can schedule drops through the event so your ice stays fresh instead of melting in a pile on day one.
Which bag sizes work best for events?
Most events use 20 and 40 lb bags: cubed for drinks, crushed for coolers and seafood displays. 10 lb bags are handy for bar wells and smaller stations.
Can dry ice help at events?
Yes. Dry ice keeps backup freezers and catering storage cold for long shifts, and it’s used for stage fog effects (handled by a pro). See our dry ice safety tips.
